Workshop on Understanding 3D and Visuo-Motor Learning

Overview

The 1st Understanding 3D and Visuo-Motor Learning workshop at the 4th International Conference on 3D Vision 2016 focuses on navigation, affordance, manipulation and other robotics application. Recent results on end-to-end Visuo-Motor Learning have shown a great direction for learning actions and interaction. Detailed 3D understanding provides an intermediate representation and has the potential to benefit policy learning through the use of more benign state space representations. Our goal is to bring together both researchers from 3D vision community and from Visuo-Motor Learning community to mutually benefit from diverse approaches.
